The primary activity of All About Apple is the maintenance of the Museum and its continuous expansion; beyond this, all the regular activities of a good User Group can also be found (take a look at Resources, staff, contacts).
You can participate in our group either by registering with the A.M.U.G., or by donating or exchanging material with the Museum; however both things would also be appreciated!
You can register with us simply by sending an e-mail to 'iscrizione@allaboutapple.com'.
The annual registration fee is Euro 30,00 (+ shipment expenses). This amount can be freely increased if you want give to us a particular support.
Subsequently
a confirmation message will be sent to you containing the instructions
needed to proceed to the payment. Your adhesion will be mentioned in the
members page, but anonymity
can be preserved at your discretion.
The registration gives you free access to the Museum, free
technical support via e-mail (concerning hardware and software problems
encountered using Apple computers), and the possibility of having a link
on your website; moreover you will receive an acknowledgement badge
and our mug
with A.M.U.G. logo. You will also be contacted for A.M.U.G. special events
(meetings, special courses and so on).
Next annual renews will be characterized by a gadget that will vary of year in year; for the 2003-2004 period we have realized a black baseball hat with our logo. (pict) (qtvr)
It
is important to specify that if you donate something to the Museum you
will not be automatically registered, due to the fact that the registration
fee is needed to partially support the Museum’s costs (electricity,
items of repair, website, etc.), and cannot be avoided.
From september
2003, we will offer free of charge
- comprised in the fee of new registration, or annual renew - a 50 Megabytes
mailbox of the type ' name.surname@allaboutapple.com'
If
you own old Apple products (functional or not), they are of interest for
the Museum of All About Apple.
Send an e-mail to info@allaboutapple.com
specifying the details of your donation or exchange, and you will be immediately
contacted.
Items donated will be repaired, if possible, and included in the catalogue
of the Museum. The name and e-mail of the donor (if not against his will)
will be mentioned together with special tied classified webpage to any
eventual history linked with your personal Apple Experience – according
to Apple Switch campaign.
If your donation is particularly relevant you could acquire the title
of Special Donor member (1
year free association with no gadgets) or Honorary
Associate Member (life free association)
of the A.M.U.G.
